Cut from a recycled oil drum

Recycled steel oil-drum.

This metal sculpture was cut from a recycled steel oil -drum, then hammered and incised by the artist.

Since the above full-length photo was taken in March 2014, the representation of the loa broke off about 1½ inches above the shoulder. That piece has been retained, and can hopefully be reattached.

An incorporated ankle bracelet wraps just above the left foot, and the piece is signed with G BIEN-AIME stamped into the metal on the right leg.
