Kingsley Thomas was born in Jamaica in 1941. He lives in Swift River, Portland. His subject matter differs from the other Jamaican Intuitive Artists. He creates imagined dramatic scenes and sometimes paints a caption onto his paintings. Thomas's art is often a medium for messages and moralizing.
Thomas is represented in the collections of the Frost Art Museum at Florida International University in Miami, Florida, and the National Gallery of Jamaica in Kingston, Jamaica.
